Working principle of four-effect evaporator:

The working principle of four-effect evaporator is to use the secondary steam generated by the evaporation of the former effect to provide heat source for the next effect, so as to achieve the purpose of energy saving. The four effects can recover part of the secondary steam, and the more effects, the more secondary steam can be recovered. This is different from the MVR evaporator which can recover all the secondary steam. The four-effect evaporator consists of four evaporators connected in series. Generally speaking, single-effect evaporation consumes 1.1 to 1.2 tons of steam to evaporate every ton of water, double-effect evaporation consumes 0.6 to 0.7 tons of steam to evaporate every ton of water, triple-effect evaporation consumes 0.37 to 0.46 tons of steam to evaporate every ton of water, and four-effect evaporation consumes 0.3 to 0.35 tons of steam to evaporate every ton of water.

Application range of four-effect evaporator:

The double-effect evaporator is suitable for evaporation, concentration and crystallization in the industries of chemical, food, pharmaceutical, printing and dyeing, environmental protection engineering and waste fluid evaporation and recovery with crystallinity, high concentration and high viscosity, such as recovery of sodium chloride, sodium sulfate, ammonium chloride, ammonium sulfate, etc.

Four-effect evaporator process:

According to the different flow directions of heating steam and materials, the series connection mode of four-effect evaporator can be divided into three types: forward flow, reverse flow and advection.

The selection of four-effect evaporation process is mainly based on the features of materials. 

Composition of four-effect evaporator:

It is composed of four sets of heating evaporators, a separator, a condenser, a thermal -compression-pump, a thermal insulation pipe, a vacuum system, a feed liquid delivery pump, a condensation drainage pump, an operating platform, an electrical instrument control cabinet, a valve, a pipeline and other systems.

The four-effect evaporator can adopt forced circulation, natural circulation, falling film, rising film, plate type evaporator and other forms, and can also adopt a variety of combinations to optimize the process.
